Cablevision’s Effort At Restraining Order Denied
Published October 29, 2004
Cablevision’s request for a temporary restraining order against the Mets’ plans to grant their TV rights for ’06 and future seasons to a new RSN that the team wants to launch with Time Warner Cable and Comcast was denied by New York State Supreme Court Justice Helen Freedman Thursday in N.Y. But Cablevision in a statement said the court “has scheduled a hearing for Nov. 17 to consider MSG Networks’ motions” (THE DAILY).
