According to Nielsen//NetRatings, NBCOlympics.com attracted a total U.S. home unique audience of 7,037,000 visitors during the 17-day Athens Olympics, an increase of 24% from the 5,701,000 it attracted over the 17 days of the ’02 Salt Lake City Winter Games. Of note, the final five days of competition attracted a total unique audience of just 1,408,000 visitors, down 23% from 1,827,000 during the final five days in Salt Lake City.
