Published June 2, 2004
By Daniel Kaplan, Staff Writer, SportsBusiness Journal
The Seahawks are set to announce at 2:00pm ET today that Qwest Communications will name Seahawks Stadium, which will become Qwest Field. It is believed that the deal is for 15-20 years with a rights fee in the $4-5M annual range. The Seahawks have been in the market for a naming rights partner since moving into their new stadium two seasons ago, and hired The Bonham Group to sell the category (THE DAILY).
