Nets Ink Three-Year Deal With WFAN-AM To Broadcast Games
Published May 7, 2004
WFAN-AM has reached a multiyear agreement to broadcast Nets games beginning with the '04-05 season (Nets). On Long Island, Steve Zipay reports the deal is for three years, and the Nets "will buy the time on WFAN." The station, which relinquished rights for Knicks and Rangers games to ESPN Radio 1050 after 16 seasons, will also air Devils games starting next season. Nets games were previously broadcast on WOR-AM (NEWSDAY, 5/7).
