The NFL Giants have increased ticket prices by $5 for the '04 season. Upper and lower tiers are now $65 per ticket and mezzanine seats are $75. The Giants' $61.99 average ticket price last season ranked 16th in the NFL (Giants). Giants Exec VP & COO John Mara: "I certainly didn't like raising the ticket prices after the season we had, but we planned on doing it all along. You still have to run a business, pay the salaries and the signing bonuses" (AP, 3/12). Giants VP/Communications Pat Hanlon noted that the team has a season-ticket waiting list of 24,000 and has sold out every home game since moving to Giants Stadium in '76 (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 3/12).
