Cotton Bowl execs have "called for a November voter referendum they hope would lead to construction of a $600[M] domed stadium complex" for the Cowboys that would accommodate up to 100,000 fans, according to Tim Griffin of the SAN ANTONIO EXPRESS-NEWS, who noted an "urgency exists for a referendum in order to be ready when the BCS is expected to add a fifth bowl to the national championship rotation." Cotton Bowl Stadium Committee Chair John Scovell said, "We have to remind ourselves the Cowboys have other options.
