The following are regular-season Nielsen ratings trends for MLS' national broadcast partners for the past six years. In 2002, MLS signed a deal with ABC and ESPN to exclusive broadcast rights through 2006. ESPN2 aired 26 regular-season games in 2002 and 25 regular-season games in 2003.
