| KeyArena Suites Now Equipped With Microsoft Software |
Most of KeyArena's suites have been outfitted with computers running Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 software connected to flat-screen TVs. The setup, which debuted Friday, "allows people to play music, check e-mail, give presentations, use the Internet and record and replay live broadcasts while using the suites" (SEATTLE POST INTELLIGENCER, 11/11).
NORTH BY NORTHWEST: ISC Dir of Communications David Talley said that the company "also is considering Oregon" in its Pacific Northwest site search for a new track. ISC execs visited Washington "at least three times since September" touring sites. ISC last month hosted Snohomish and Kitsap County (WA) officials at Kansas Speedway "so they could experience a race weekend and learn how" the facility was financed. Snohomish County council member Jeff Sax said, "They want to redo Kansas here. They want to see if there is a political will (here) to make the things happen that need to happen" (SEATTLE TIMES, 11/9).
