The two easily outdistanced third-place finisher Sammy Sosa, together garnering over 70% of first-place votes. Jeter's status as the game's most marketable will only be enhanced when Visa rolls out a new ad featuring him and George Steinbrenner. How things have changed since '99, when Ken Griffey Jr. earned the top spot in our survey, as the Reds CF did not even place in this year's top ten.
