Sonny Days Just Might Be Ahead For Vaccaro At Reebok

adidas Dir of Grassroots Basketball SONNY VACCARO "might move to Reebok," according to Christopher Lawlor of USA TODAY. Vaccaro: "It's nice to be wanted." Vaccaro said that he "has had only a 'handshake agreement'" with adidas for about ten years. Before joining adidas, Vaccaro was with Nike. Vaccaro: "Wherever I go, I'll sign new talent, secure relationships and put on high school events and tournaments." Lawlor writes, "If Vaccaro moves, he would take three successful events for high school-age boys; the ABCD Camp, the Big Time Tournament and the Round Ball Classic, an All-America game in Chicago." Vaccaro owns all three events (USA TODAY, 8/30).
