Browns’ New Third Jersey |
A new NFL measure "allows teams to wear a third jersey once a season," and NFL Dir of Corporate Communications Brian McCarthy said that "about a dozen teams are expected" to wear third jerseys this year, according to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville TENNESSEAN, who noted a third jersey can only be used after the ninth game. But Titans President Jeff Diamond said, "We have no plans to utilize a third jersey." Wyatt noted that the Browns plan to wear orange jerseys for their November 3 game against the Steelers, and the Jaguars will wear their third jersey black with white numbers and a gold stripe on each sleeve for their December 1 game against the Steelers (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 7/14).
