TV MONITOR: Last night's 11:00pm ET edition of ESPN's "SportsCenter" led with Giants-D'Backs followed by Dodgers-Cardinals and Cubs-Braves. The first non-MLB report was a recap of Wimbledon (THE DAILY).

ON THE AIR: Serena Williams appeared on NBC's "Today" show this morning. The Boston Globe's Bob Ryan appeared on CBS' "The Early Show" to discuss the controversy around the Ted Williams after-death debate. D'Backs P Curt Schilling, Rangers SS Alex Rodriguez, MLB HOFer Ozzie Smith, Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker and NFL HOFer Jim Brown will be on the "Best Damn Sports Show Period."
