A-B President & Chair AUGUST BUSCH III yesterday announced he will step down as president, effective July 1, but will remain Chair. Busch will be replaced by Senior Exec VP & BOD member PATRICK STOKES, who will also assume the new role of CEO. It marks the first time since 1860 the company "is turning to someone outside the two families to take the top job" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 4/25).

EXECS: DAVID TUCCI, formerly Midwest Manager for Field & Stream, was named to the new position of ESPN Outdoor Regional Sales Manager (CHIC. TRIBUNE, 4/25)....Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Manager of Communications SAMANTHA BEAULIEU was named ESPN Zone Manager of Publicity & Promotions. Beaulieu joined Disney in '99 as a Communications Specialist for Disney Sports & Recreation (Walt Disney).
