United Sports Ventures Sells Second UHL Team In The Past Year
Published January 9, 2002
THE HOCKEY NEWS' Brendan Savage reported that United Sports Ventures (USV) "has sold another" UHL club. Previously, USV sold the Quad City Mallards during the off-season. Now the MO River Otters have been purchased by "a local group called River City Hockey LLC" from USV. The River City group consists of three local residents, of which Kevin Fitzpatrick will oversee the club as President & GM. USV still owns the UHL's Rockford IceHogs (THE HOCKEY NEWS, 1/4 issue).
