NFL: Last night's Colts-Dolphins game on ABC's "MNF" earned an 11.4/18 overnight Nielsen rating, down 9% from a 12.5/19 for the comparable Packers-Panthers game last year (THE DAILY)....Last night's edition of ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" was the program's 200th show. ESPN's Mike Tirico: "A couple of names, of couple of different sets, but essentially the same cast of characters" (ESPN, 12/10). ...In MN, Charley Walters reports the move of Vikings' radio rights from WCCO-AM to KFAN-AM this season "will provide the team with $450,000 in additional revenue," which totaled $1.3M from WCCO last year (PIONEER PRESS, 12/11)....The Browns-Patriots on WHDH-CBS in Boston earned a 29.8/56, becoming "the best Patriots rating of the season and the team's best since" November '98 (BOSTON GLOBE, 12/11).
ON THE WEB: The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Noah Liberman reports SportsLine.com "claims it has 2 million more unique visitors a month" than were reported by Jupiter Media Metrix, and FoxSports.com "claims it was shorted 1.4 million in October, being credited with fewer than 900,000 (SBJ, 12/10 issue)....Turner Sports will redesign its NASCAR.com before the season begins in February.
