MICHAEL WEISMAN is returning to NBC as an exec consultant on Olympic production for the '02 Games. Weisman began his career at NBC in '71 and joined NBC Sports in '73 and served as Exec Producer from '82-89 (NBC)....The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG) announced Octagon Worldwide is moving its HQs to N.Y. Octagon co-Founder FRANK LOWE will remain Chair while co-Founder LES DELANO was named CEO (IPG)....The Laureus World Sports Awards named former Mercedes-Benz Dir of Product Communications WOLFGANG INHESTER as Exec Dir and was appointed to the BOD. IAIN BANNER will remain as CEO (Laureus World Sports Awards).
