CFL Names Brent Scrimshaw To Senior VP/Marketing Post

The CFL has named BRENT SCRIMSHAW as Senior VP/Marketing & Corporate Sponsorships. Scrimshaw previously was President of Molstar Sports & Entertainment, and most recently was Exec Dir for the PGA Tour's Air Canada Championship (CFL). In Toronto, David Naylor writes that along with developing corporate partnerships for the CFL, Scrimshaw will work "to develop the CFL's brand and corporate licensing." Scrimshaw, who headed both TV production and negotiations for Molson, "could also prove helpful when the CFL gets down to extending" its deals with TSN and the CBC, which expire in '02 (GLOBE & MAIL, 12/4).
