Names & Faces: Stackhouse Larger-Than-Life; Jesper In Print

JERRY THE GIANT: The Southfield Town Center, a 32-floor office complex in suburban Detroit, will display a 118-foot high, 33-foot wide action shot of Pistons G Jerry Stackhouse on the top 12 stories of the building. The Pistons call the 6,000-square-foot display "the largest known basketball adhesive image in the world." The display will appear for 45 days and will be illuminated at night (Pistons).
JESPER THE COOL: GOLF WORLD's Geoff Russell reports fashion designer Johan Lindeberg has commissioned a "lifestyle book" about golfer Jesper Parnevik. Lindeberg called Parnevik, who wears Lindeberg clothing, "the new modern man. He is the Madonna of golf. He is among the 10 coolest athletes in the world." No publishing date was announced (GOLF WORLD, 11/9 issue).
GOLDEN BEAR ADDS TO ROSTER: Jack Nicklaus has signed a multiyear deal as a spokesperson for TN-based King Pharmaceuticals' Altace, an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. Altace is marketed by King subsidiary Monarch Pharmaceuticals. Nicklaus will appear in a national TV and print ad campaign beginning in '02 (King Pharmaceuticals).
