Formula One team Arrows has "started proceedings against Coral, claiming that the UK betting company breached" a $US30M, two-year sponsorship contract. The deal "was due to expire at the end of this month but Coral terminated it early." Arrows "believes Coral was not entitled to do so" (FT.com, 11/8)....CNS Inc., which has signed 140 NFL players to wear Breathe Right nasal strips, is "debuting a stars-and-stripes design in the coming weeks." The "idea was born after" the company handed out more than 30,000 strips at the N.Y. Marathon last weekend. CNS Dir of Marketing Leah Stevenson said that about 10,000 runners wore the strips (Darren Rovell, ESPN.com, 11/8).
NBA: The Magic will be the first NBA team to develop and distribute a Magic-themed custom Pez candy dispenser. The Pez dispenser will be given to the first 15,000 fans at tonight's game against the Kings (Magic)....NBAE and Getty Images have signed a multi-year agreement where Getty Images will act as the Official Photo Source of the NBA, WNBA and NBDL. Getty Images will provide this service through its Allsport brand (Getty Images).
