    While NFL Referees Association negotiator Tom Condon yesterday met with NFL execs about a new contract for the refs, the NFL said that "no progress has been made." NFL VP Greg Aiello said the league improved its offer with increases in the pension and 401(k) plans. Aiello: "We remain far apart. They did not present a formal counteroffer."
