Cover Boy: The Sporting News To Launch An All New Look

With its current issue, The Sporting News debuts a redesigned format and an increased circulation guarantee. The new format features a heavy glossy cover stock, new graphics and a 9 1/2" by 10" size. TSN is increasing its circulation rate base by 16.5% to 600,000 (TSN). TSN Senior VP/Editorial Dir John Rawlings writes the new format is "more dramatic, more breathtaking and more arresting in appearance, yet carries the same clout in its content. Well, OK, the content is different. It's better" (TSN, 7/9).
