ON THE LOOKOUT: Sportsco Int'l, which owns the SkyDome, is seeking a naming-rights deal to the ballpark and has hired a U.S.-based consulting firm to scout potential buyers. Sportsco President Norman Seagram said that "no companies have been contacted yet" (NATIONAL POST, 7/11).
CHOICE SEATING: In Ft. Worth, Jeff Caplan writes that Reliant Stadium "is on its way to making the expansion Texans one of, if not the top, revenue-producing franchises in the league." Texans Senior VP Steve Patterson said, "If we didn't sell another ticket from today on, we'd be in the top half of the league in revenue." Of the 166 suites, selling for $140,000 each, 125 are sold, 90% on a ten-year basis. The team has also sold 40,000 PSLs and regular season-tickets (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 7/11).
