USOC Turns To Korn/Ferry Int'l To Locate Full-Time CEO
Published May 25, 2001
The USOC has selected Korn/Ferry Int'l to help hire a permanent CEO, according to Meri-Jo Borzilleri of the CO Springs GAZETTE. Acting CEO Scott Blackmun said, "I am still committed to staying through the end of May. I don't have any plans to leave after May." Borzilleri writes that the process "is one that has yet to include any candidates other" than Blackmun. But in the next few days, Korn/Ferry Int'l is to "present a timeline" to the USOC search committee. USOC President Sandy Baldwin, on Korn/Ferry Int'l: "They are one of the most reputable search firms in the world. We want to be able to spread as wide a net as we need" (CO Springs GAZETTE, 5/25).
