TRAVELING SHOW: In Atlanta, Rick Minter writes the Atlanta History Center and the Smithsonian "are working together to create" a $7M "Speed and Spirit, NASCAR in America" exhibit that traces the history of NASCAR. The exhibit, set to open in '03, "would stay in Atlanta for six months, then be taken to six or seven other cities," including DC (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 5/25).
