Published April 26, 2001
Jani-King has been hired to provide housekeeping services at the Olympic Village in Salt Lake City, according to Lisa Riley Roche of DESERET NEWS, who noted the company "is among the first announced contributors in a corporate giving program for the 2002 Winter Games with a price tag that ranges from" $100,000-1M. SLOC Managing Dir of Marketing Don Stirling said that Jani-King's contribution of cash and services "falls into the $100,000, or bronze category," while gold-category donors "must come up with" $1M and silver, $500,000. Roche added participants in the donor program "aren't allowed to advertise their Olympic support" (DESERET NEWS, 4/24).
