NHL: ESPN's coverage of the NHL is averaging a 0.58/ (467,290 HHs) for 11 telecasts, up 5% from a .55/(426,092 HHs) for ten telecasts last year. ESPN2's 54 broadcasts are averaging a 0.24 (175,221 HHs), down 14% from a 0.28 (185,892 HHs) through the same number of games last year. In the 18-34 demo, the ESPN broadcasts are earning a 0.83 up 46% from a 0.57 last year. Meanwhile ESPN2 is a averaging a 0.39, up 34% from a 0.29 for the 18-34 demo.
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: CBS' NCAA coverage is averaging a 2.0/5, down 5% from a 2.1/5 through the same point last season. ESPN's 62 broadcasts are earning a 0.93/(741,419 HHs), down 9% from last year's 60 broadcasts, which got a 1.02 (787,862 HHs). Meanwhile, ESPN2's 30 broadcasts are averaging a 0.48/(350,357 HHs), up 7% from last year's 35 broadcasts, .45/(302,394 HHs).
