Hockey News Presents Its 100 With Power & Influence For '01

THE HOCKEY NEWS released its second annual ranking of "100 People of Power and Influence" in hockey. THN states that its criteria this year "was tightened a little to focus more on those whose primary interests are in hockey, as opposed to those whose impact on hockey may be considerable, but secondary to core pursuits." NHLPA Associate Counsel IAN PULVER moved up the most since last year, going from No. 63 to No. 21, "in recognition to the huge role he plays" with the union. Nobody "fell more than" Walt Disney Chair MICHAEL EISNER, who dropped from No. 5 to No. 49.
