NOMINATIONS DUE FRIDAY FOR THE DAILY'S SPORTS INDUSTRIALIST

          THE SPORTS BUSINESS DAILY is now accepting nominations
     for our 2000 SPORTS INDUSTRIALIST OF THE YEAR award.  The
     annual award honors a person or entity who, over the past
     year, has best represented our vision of sports as a global
     business and sports as entertainment.  All nominees should
     have a clear and definable impact on the industry through
     creative and innovative thoughts and practices.  Previous
     winners include NBA Commissioner David Stern ('95), Major
     League Soccer ('96), Fox Sports TV Group Chair David Hill
     ('97), Coca-Cola VP & Dir of Media and Marketing Assets
     Chuck Fruit and former VP & Dir of U.S. Marketing Asset
     Management Steven Koonin ('98) and NASCAR Senior VP Brian
     France ('99).  The winner will be selected by the editorial
     staff of THE DAILY and announced in early 2001.  Nominations
     can be made in writing, on video or in person to the
     editorial staff by Friday, December 15.  Please send all
