Major League Lacrosse (MLL) announced yesterday that its six franchises will be based in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Fairfield County, CT, Washington, DC, Long Island and Rochester, NY, according to USA TODAY's Eddie Timanus. The MLL is set to start next summer, and league Founder Jake Steinfeld said, "We're still working out the venues. We're looking for intimate stadiums that seat between 5,000 and 12,000" (USA TODAY, 11/3).
