FOX PROMOTES HONEYCUTT; CREATES NEW SPORTS AD SALES DEPT.

          Fox Cable Networks Group (FCNG) has promoted JOHN
     HONEYCUTT to Senior VP/Broadcast Operations after he served
     as VP/Broadcast Operations since '98.  Honeycutt, who will
     be based in L.A., was responsible for recently rebuilding
     and converting FSN's Houston broadcast center to digital
     technology.  He was also in charge of all technical
     operations associated with the launch of FSN's "RSR"s.
     Honeycutt will have direct technical operations oversight
     for FSN's 11 O&O networks and the regional news
     organizations, and will manage all budgeting matters,
     strategy and day-to-day administration in broadcast
     operations for the FCNG properties FX, The Health Network,
     and the National Geographic Channel (FCNG).
          ADS FOR SALE: The SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's Langdon
     Brockinton cites sources as saying that Fox is creating a
     five-member sports ad sales department.  The new department
     will be led by Fox Senior VP/Sports Ad Sales JIM BURNETTE
     and VP/Sports Ad Sales STEVE MCKIERNAN, who previously were
     the two sales execs at Fox handling sports sales exclusively
     (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 11/20 issue).
