BRONCOS HAVING DIFFICULTY SELLING OUT NEW CLUB SEATING

The Broncos have "exhausted efforts" to sell premium
club seats in their new stadium to current season ticket
holders and waiting list customers, according to Steve Caulk
of the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, who reports that 2,075 tickets
are now available to the general public. The available club
season tickets are priced between $2,250-2,750. Broncos
Senior Dir of Ticket Operations Rick Nichols said, "It's not
unusual for NFL teams not to sell out club seats prior to
opening a building. ... [But] based on input we've received
from fans about upgrading their seats and access to
amenities, I'm a little surprised we didn't sell completely
out." Gilco Sports & Entertainment Marketing Partner David
Cope said that with 77% of the club seats sold, the Broncos
are "probably on track." Cope: "The last 20 percent of
almost anything that is of premium pricing is the most
difficult to sell or takes the most effort." The Bonham
Group Chair Dean Bonham hinted that the team might reduce
the price of club seats, said, "I think the fact that they
were unable to sell 2,000 tickets will affect the price that
they sell the balance for (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 11/17).
