          NOTES: For broadcast numbers, one ratings point =
     1,008,000 homes.  "COV AREA" = % of homes tuned into that
     program in that network's universe of subscribers.
          SUBMARINED ON THE WAY? NBC's two-day coverage of the
     fourth President's Cup produced a 2.7/8 rating, up 4% from
     CBS' 2.6/7 in '98, marking the highest two-day average for
     the event.  Sunday's final round was down 16% from '98's
     3.1/6, while Saturday's third-round coverage was up 22% from
     a 2.3/7 in '98, marking the highest-rated Saturday in the
     event's history....ABC's "MNF" is averaging a 12.6/21 rating
     through eight games, down 7% from last year's 13.6/23.  The
     final Nielsen rating for ABC's "MNF" Dolphins-Jets game was
     down 19% from last year's Seahawks-Packers game, which drew
     a 14.9/25....CBS' NFL coverage is averaging an 8.8/20 after
     eight weeks, down 11% from a 9.9/22 a year ago....Fox is
     averaging a 10.3/23 through eight weeks, down 5% from '99's
     10.8/24....ABC is averaging a 3.9/10 rating through 13
     college football telecasts, down 13% from a 4.5/12 through
     the same point last year (THE DAILY).
