NASCAR NAMES PAUL BROOKS VP/BROADCASTING IN L.A. OFFICE

          NASCAR has named PAUL BROOKS VP/Broadcasting.  Brooks,
     who has served as VP/Office of the President since '98, will
     move to L.A. to open a NASCAR office in the Century City
     area on December 1.  Some operational components of NASCAR's
     broadcasting efforts will remain in Charlotte, but the core
     of its efforts will be shifted to L.A. to work more closely
     with the networks and entertainment industry and to build
     new ancillary broadcast efforts.  NASCAR's N.Y. office will
     continue to provide broadcast and media support for all
     broadcast partners.  NASCAR VP/Broadcasting & Technology
     BRAY CARY will remain in Charlotte and will provide strategy
     and guidance to NASCAR's broadcast initiatives, as well as
     further involvement in other NASCAR projects (NASCAR).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
