MLS PLAYOFF ATTENDANCE: NUMBERS DOWN 26% FROM LAST YEAR

The following lists MLS announced attendance for the
league's 17 playoff games and final average. MLS
Commissioner Don Garber: "The playoffs were a disappointment
for us. You've got to consider that last year two of our
top-selling teams throughout the playoffs in Columbus (Crew)
and D.C. (United) did not make the playoffs this year.
That's about 23,000 and 24,000 (fans), and not having those
markets affect your average" (BOSTON HERALD, 10/17).
