EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          CARROW NAMED PRESIDENT & COO: Raleigh-based Capitol
     Broadcasting Co. named HILL CARROW as President & COO of the
     company's new sports marketing and management division
     Capitol Sports Management (CSM).  CSM will look to develop
     new properties in the adult or masters sports market and
     will consult on marketing, sponsorships, facilities, bid
     cities and team ownership.  Carrow joins CSM from the USOC
     where he served as Dir of the USOC's Corporate Partnerships
     & Services Division and as VP at OPUS. Carrow also served as
     Dir of Sara Lee Corp.'s sponsorship of the '96 Games (CSM).
          OTHER MOVES: Nike named LESLYE MUNDY as Dir of Global
     Corporate Media Relations, with an emphasis on business and
     financial media.  Mundy was VP/Internal Communications at
     AutoNation.  In addition, Nike named BETH GORNY as PR
     Manager for Nike.com (Nike)....The WUSA named SHAUN MAY as
     Dir of PR.  Previously, May was Dir of Athletic
     Communications at the Univ. of PA (THE DAILY)....eBizJets
     named JUSTIN FIRESTONE as Dir of Sports Marketing where he
     will be responsible for marketing and sales of eBizJets
     Worldwide Travel Card to sports industry individuals. 
     Firestone comes from Broadband Sports' athletesdirect.com
     (eBizJets)....Heritage Golf Group named CHRIS AGUILAR as Dir
     of Marketing & Communications (THE DAILY)....Dallas-based
     Center Operating Co., which runs the American Airlines
     Center, has named four members to its sales department:
     Former Mavericks Account Exec BRIAN O'CONNOR; former TX
     Motor Speedway exec PHILLIP TAGGERT; and Southwest Sports
     Group execs GLEN BRIGHT and JEFF TRUMMONDS (DALLAS MORNING
     NEWS, 10/15) ...Seattle-based Varsity Communications has
     named CHARLES BEENE as Editor (Varsity Communications).
