ESPN TABS HIGH-PROFILE TEAM TO TAKE ESPY'S TO NEXT LEVEL

          ESPN has hired MAUREEN MURRAY QUINN as Exec Dir of its
     ESPY Awards show, "heading a newly formed executive team
     whose year-round responsibility is the ESPYs," according to
     Langdon Brockinton of the SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL.  Quinn was
     VP/Marketing for the Miss Universe Organization for the past
     three years, after previously working at IMG as Senior Dir
     of Licensing and at NFLP.  Quinn will be joined by RACHEL
     MACK as Dir of Marketing, MAURA MANDT as Dir of Event &
     Program Development and MARIAN HANSON, who will work in
     ESPN's Affil Sales.  Quinn: "Our goal is to make the ESPY's
     the Oscars of sports" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/16 issue).
