EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          SANDY LITVACK TO RESIGN: SANDY LITVACK will resign his
     post as Vice Chair of Walt Disney at year-end to pursue
     other opportunities.  Litvack will move to a non-exclusive
     part time executive role at Disney and will focus primarily
     on legal and governmental affairs, as well as corporate
     alliance relationships and sports operations.  The company
     doesn't plan to name a successor (THE DAILY).
          EXECS: J. RILEY MCDONOUGH was named as VP/Advertising &
     Sales at ESPN Internet Group.  He was previously VP/Sales &
     Marketing at Internet applications company eCal (AD AGE,
     10/9 issue)....The Golf Channel has named DAVID MANOUGIAN,
     an original member of its exec team, as COO (The Golf
     Channel)....DREW OHLMEYER, the son of "MNF" Exec Producer
     DON OHLMEYER, has been named as Media Relations Dir for the
     XFL's L.A. Xtreme.  Ohlmeyer was previously a sports anchor
     at KMIR-NBC in Palm Springs (L.A. TIMES, 10/13)....ESPN STAR
     Sports (ESS) named former Time Warner VP WAYNE BECKER as
     Senior VP/Programming & Event Management.  Becker will
     relocate to ESS' headquarters in Singapore and report to
     Managing Dir Rik Dovey (ESS)....Dallas-based eFANshop named
     DONALD ROACH as Exec VP & COO. Roach had served as Senior
     VP/Finance & Operations for Footaction USA
     (eFANshop)....NASCAR Winston Cup Scene Associate Editor JEFF
     OWENS has been promoted to Managing Editor (THE DAILY).
