EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton profiles former Gatorade and
     Oakley exec BILL SCHMIDT, who has launched CA-based Pegasus
     Sports marketing.  One of his clients is American General
     Financial Group, for whom Schmidt "is handling" its WNBA
     sponsorship.  Lefton also reports that KIP KOSLOW has joined
     N.Y.-based Steiner Sports Marketing as VP/Sports Consulting. 
     Koslow was previously Dir of Marketing Partnerships for the
     NBA.  In other news, former Lego marketer DICK GARVEY has
     joined MA-based Myteam.com as VP/Marketing (BRANDWEEK, 9/25
     issue)....MICHAEL SCANLON was named GM at Sovereign Bank
     Arena, replacing SCOTT SLOMAN, who has resigned.  Scanlon
     was previously Dir of Operations & Events Services at the
     Colorado Springs World Arena and Ice Hall (Global Spectrum).
