NOTES: AD AGE lists its "Media Mavens" for 2000, whose
"cutting-edge techniques and missionary zeal" help them
"stand out." Among those named: CBS President of Ad Sales
Joe Abruzzese and Turner Sports President Mark Lazarus.
Lazarus "is the only top executive at the national sports
cable level overseeing his company's sales/marketing and
production/programming efforts" (AD AGE, 9/18)....Cowboys LB
Dexter Coakley said that the "toughest part" about wearing a
mic during the "MNF" game against the Redskins "was not
necessarily watching what he said -- because he doesn't
'curse' anyway -- but keeping the whole thing a secret from
his teammates" (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 9/21).
