          The WOMEN'S IN SPORTS CAREERS FOUNDATION (WISC) has
     launched its Online Career Center with support from Franklin
     Covey and other sponsors.  The site will feature job
     listings in partnership with Women Sports Services (Women
     Sports Job Wire) and Franklin Covey (Sports Careers)....In
     DC, Bill Gifford reviewed the LANCE ARMSTRONG/SALLY JENKINS
     book, "IT'S NOT ABOUT THE BIKE," and wrote, "You'll find no
     poetry here, but [it] does a nice job of replicating
     Armstrong's voice, as flat and direct as his native Texas"
     (WASHINGTON POST, 9/11)....Former Dolphins QB DAN MARINO is
     close to selling his Weston, FL-area home for an amount
     "close to" the asking price of $8.9M.  The fully-furnished,
     13,278-square-foot house features nine bedrooms, 11 baths, a
     "temperature-controlled wine" cellar and a "marble-decked
     pool" (Ft. Lauderdale SUN-SENTINEL, 9/11)....Colts QB PEYTON
     MANNING, along with his father and former Saints QB ARCHIE
     MANNING, appeared on CBS' "The Early Show" and discussed
     their new book, "MANNING: A FATHER, HIS SONS, AND A FOOTBALL
     LEGACY" (CBS, 9/12)....Golfer JEAN VAN DE VELDE has signed
     with and JIM LEHMAN's SIGNATURE SPORTS GROUP (L.A. TIMES,
     9/8)....LENNOX LEWIS appeared on "Live! With Regis" and said
     that he and his girlfriend are launching a line of boxer
     shorts.  Lewis: "The reason why I went into the boxer short
     aspect ... is because when I step on the scale, I'm wearing
     somebody else's boxers.  So I'm saying, I might as well wear
     my own boxers" ("Live! With Regis," 9/12).
