EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          CIGNA Exec VP ZAYDA CALDERON, who "bought the Futures
     Golf Tour four years ago," announced her retirement from
     CIGNA after 20 years to work full-time as CEO & President of
     the now SBC Futures Tour, the LPGA Tour's developmental
     tour.  Calderon will run the tour's marketing and
     promotions, as well as sponsorship development (GOLF WORLD
     BUSINESS, 8/28)....In DC, Leonard Shapiro reports that WTTG-
     Fox Sports Dir BRETT HABER "will leave" the station to take
     a weeknight sports anchor position at WCBS-TV in N.Y.  Haber
     will replace WARNER WOLF in the 11:00pm ET slot, as Wolf
     will handle sports at 6:00pm ET.  Haber will be replaced by
     WTTG's DAVE FELDMAN, who also worked for ESPN (WASHINGTON
     POST, 8/30)....JAMIE SYKES, formerly Disney Marketing Dir
     for its ESPN Zone, was named VP/National Promotions at
     Universal Pictures.  Sykes also worked at the NFL as
     Marketing Dir (DAILY VARIETY, 8/30)....U.S. Soccer's
     National Council re-elected BILL GOAZIOU as USSF Treasurer. 
     Goaziou was elected to the post in '94 and re-elected in '98
     (U.S. Soccer)....On-line sports retailer Star Struck
     appointed MIKE SINGLETARY to its Advisory Board (Star
     Struck)....MLB's Arizona Fall League named STACEY FLORES as
     Media Relations Manager for the 2000 season.  Flores comes
     to the Fall League from Warner Bros., where she worked in
     advertising, publicity and promotion (Arizona Fall League). 

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
