FULL ROSTER OF LOCAL SUPER BOWL SPONSORS: In Tampa,
Carter Gaddis reports that 13 corporate sponsors have
"reached financial agreements" with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl
XXXV Task Force, helping the organization raise about $2.5M,
which "more than covers the private half" of its
     "anticipated" $4M budget. Six Tampa-based companies --
WFLA-NBC, FL Power Corp., Home Shopping Network, National
Geographic Imaging, Tampa Electric and the Tampa Tribune,

Norsk Hydro (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 8/25). Meanwhile, in St.
Petersburg, Greg Auman writes that NFLP "has been vigilant
in tracking down any Web sites" with the Super Bowl phrase
"in their name." Tampa business exec Joe Redner registered
the site superbowltampa.net, but "after getting a letter
from the NFL, he turned it over." The NFL obtained its
rights and the site no longer exists (ST. PETE TIMES, 8/25).

BIKE the league's official on-field helmet supplier (XFL).
