          For broadcast numbers, one ratings point = 1,008,000
     homes.  For cable, "COV AREA" = % of homes tuned in to that
     program in that network's universe of subscribers.
          BRICKYARD 400: ABC's rating for the seventh Brickyard
     400 was down 20% from last year's 4.6/15 (ABC).
          THE INTERNATIONAL: CBS' two-day coverage of Ernie Els'
     victory at The International produced a 2.3/6, down 18% from
     a 2.8/8.  Sunday's final-round coverage was down 23% from a
     3.1/8 in '99, and the third-round coverage on Saturday was
     down 13% from last year's 2.3/7 (ABC).
          WNBA: NBC's season-to-date rating for 11 WNBA telecasts
     in nine weekends is 1.4/4, down 7% from '99's 1.5/4 ten-
     telecast-rating through that year's comparable weekend. 
     NBC's rating for Saturday was down 8% from '99's 1.3/4, and
     Sunday's rating was down 37% from '99's 1.9/5.  NBC's final
     regular-season telecast on Sunday was up 33% compared with
     last year's final regular-season telecast of Liberty-Rockers
     on August 21, which produced a 0.9/3.  Last year's regular
     season started and ended later due to the NBA lockout (NBC).
          MLB: Fox's season-to-date rating for 11 telecasts is
     3.0/10, even with last year through the same amount of
     broadcasts.  Fox' rating for its eleventh weekend was down
     13% from last year's 3.0/9 (Fox).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
