TWO DC-AREA SPORTS MARKETING VETERANS FORM NEW COMPANY

          SARA GILBERTSON, most recently PSINet Dir of Sports
     Marketing & Business Development, and DAVID COPE, most
     recently Redskins Exec VP, have formed MD-based GILCO SPORTS
     & ENTERTAINMENT MARKETING, a company organized by Gilbertson
     several months ago.  Gilbertson, who also served as Broncos
     Dir of Marketing from '97-98, will act as the new company's
     GM, while Cope, who also had roles with the Orioles, The
     Sports Business Daily, the Ravens and Washington Sports &
     Entertainment, will serve as Dir of Business Development. 
     Gilco will offer sports clients: naming rights procurement;
     inventory assessment, valuation and pricing; sponsorship
     negotiation consulting; long-term strategic development;
     advertising and sponsorship sales; sales training; sales
     leads generation; staffing and recruitment; and sales
     promotion development.  Gilco has secured agreements with
     the Bears, Ripken Baseball, Ignite Sports Media, The Univ.
     of VA (in partnership with Octagon) and Port Discovery
     Children's Museum in Baltimore (Gilco).
