NOTES: NBC's coverage for the six-game Pacers-Lakers
NBA Finals earned an 11.6/21, up 3% from last year's 11.3/21
for the five-game Knicks-Spurs series (NBC)....In Toronto,
Chris Zelkovich reports that the NBA Finals averaged 503,000
viewers on CTV, up 41% from '99 (TORONTO STAR, 6/23)...."MLB
on Fox" is averaging a 2.9/9 through four telecasts this
season, up 4% from last year's 2.8/9 for the same amount of
broadcasts (Fox)....Fox' coverage of the NFL Europe League
playoff was down 8% from last year's 1.2/4 (Fox).
FRENCH OPEN: The French Open Pierce-Martinez Women's
Final on Saturday, June 10 on NBC from 3:00-6:00pm earned a
2.0/6 rating, down 35% from '99's Graf-Hingis final, which
drew a 3.1/11 and aired from 12:00-3:00pm ET. The Kuerten-
Norman Men's Final on Sunday, June 11 on NBC from 9:00am-
2:00pm produced a 1.6/6, down 52% from '99's Agassi-Medvedev
final, which drew a 3.3/12 in the same time slot (NBC).
