          HOOPSTERS: Lakers G Kobe Bryant has sued sports
     memorabilia company OxxFord Express in L.A. Superior Court
     "to clarify his obligations to sign" 15,000-32,800 trading
     cards and other collectibles.  Bryant wants the court to
     determine if the company has "made demands beyond contract
     terms" (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 6/20)....Body 1, an Internet
     development company for healthcare, his signed Liberty F
     Rebecca Lobo as a national spokesperson (Body 1).
          REEBOK: BRANDWEEK's Terry Lefton reports that Reebok is
     "putting together its biggest marketing push ever behind"
     76ers G Allen Iverson, set for a fourth-quarter release, to
     "push" the Answer IV basketball shoe and an "associated line
     of lifestyle apparel," called "I3."  The apparel line will
     "feature price points up to" $900 for a leather jacket, as
     well as items such as "tearaway calfskin pants, velour
     shirts and leather cargo pants."  Reebok CMO Angel Martinez:
     "The whole focus here is to demonstrate an enhanced ability
     in product design and styling" (BRANDWEEK, 6/19 issue). 
     ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY gives Reebok's new TV ads running
     during CBS' "Survivor" series that feature a "pair of dim-
     witted hiking buddies star[ing] down one natural disaster
     after another" (see THE DAILY, 6/1) three out of five
     "torches" and writes, "It's a shock-filled campaign worthy
     of the Farrelly brothers, but what exactly does it have to
     do with footwear?" (ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, 6/23 issue).
