EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          USOC EXEC STEPS DOWN: In CO Springs, Paula Parrish 
     reports that USOC Drug Control Administration Dir DR. WADE
     EXUM resigned yesterday while "charging his superiors with
     racist, unethical and illegal conduct."  USOC Senior
     Managing Dir for Sports Resources SCOTT BLACKMUN denied
     Exum's allegations (CO Springs GAZETTE, 6/15).  Exum has
     charged the USOC with "deliberately encouraging the doping
     of athletes without regard to the consequences to their
     health."  Blackmun said a previous investigation on similar
     charges "yielded nothing" (USA TODAY, 6/15).
          OTHER MOVES: The FINANCIAL TIMES' Andrew Ward writes
     that MARTIN EDWARDS "is likely to step down" as CEO of
     Manchester United this summer and will "hand over" the
     position to his deputy, PETER KENYON (FINANCIAL TIMES,
     6/15)....In St. Paul, Charley Walters reports that Vikings
     Senior Corporate Sales Manager AVERY ROBBINS "is leaving" to
     become Dir of Sales for the Bears (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS,
     6/15)....The Redskins named DOUGLAS GREEN as Dir of PR.  For
     the past three years, Green was Dir of Football Operations
     for the Univ. of IL.  Prior to that, he spent eight years as
     Assistant Dir of PR for the Bears (Redskins)....PA-based
     FrontLine Solutions named RICHARD ROCCATO VP/Operations and
     TOM ALEXANDER as Account Manager (FrontLine Solutions).
     ....Former 49ers QB STEVE YOUNG was elected to Flexpoint
     Sensor Systems BOD.  Young will also serve as an advisor and
     spokesperson for the company (Flexpoint)....DP Fox Sports
     and Entertainment named BOB KASER as Exec Dir of
     Broadcasting.  Kaser will also provide media relations
     oversight for DP Fox Sports' IHL Blades and AFL Wranglers. 
     For the past ten years, Kaser was Dir of Communications &
     Broadcasting for the Blades (DP Fox Sports).
