STEVE ZIPAY FAULTS ESPN'S LINDA COHN FOR RECENT PROMO SHOOT

          At a promo shoot for ESPN, anchor Linda Cohn posed in a
     swimsuit sitting in a hot tub "sipping from a champagne
     glass on the lap" of Rams OT Orlando Pace, according to
     Steve Zipay of NEWSDAY, who writes, "The whole scene does
     nothing to improve the oft-maligned image of women sports
     journalists."  Some photos were published in ESPN Magazine's
     May 15 issue.  Zipay: "Much of what is shot for promos never
     airs, and some ESPN TV executives are annoyed that [ESPN
     Magazine] ran the picture" (NEWSDAY, 6/14).
