JULIE FOUDY ACCUSED BY FORMER AGENT OF BREACH OF CONTRACT

          U.S. women's soccer player Julie Foudy "has been
     accused" by her former agent, Ellen Zavian, of "breaching a
     contract," according to Alex Katz of the L.A. TIMES.  Zavian
     filed a lawsuit in Orange County (CA) Superior Court
     claiming that Foudy "refused to pay Zavian's share of an
     endorsement deal" with Reebok.  The suit claims that Zavian
     "negotiated" the Reebok deal and "therefore was entitled to
     10% of the money Foudy earned from it."   The suit also
     states that Foudy, who is still being paid by Reebok, "paid
     Zavian's share of the deal for more than a year but stopped
     paying after the two parted ways" in '97.  Zavian is suing
     Foudy for an "undetermined amount" for alleged breach of
     contract and is "asking for at least" $45,500 in legal
     costs.  No trial date has been scheduled (L.A. TIMES, 5/30).
