EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          N.Y.-based SFM Media/MPG President of National
     Broadcast JERRY SOLOMON is leaving the company on July 15. 
     Solomon will "remain active" in the industry as a consultant
     (AD AGE DAILY, 5/24)....ABC promoted former Senior VP &
     General Counsel ALAN BRAVERMAN to Exec VP & General Counsel,
     where he will oversee the legal affairs of the ABC Broadcast
     Group, ESPN and Disney/ABC Cable (DAILY VARIETY, 5/24).
     ....Jazz Dir of Media Relations EVAN SILVERMAN is leaving to
     become Dir of Internet Services for NBA.com.  Silverman
     begins his new position on June 12 (THE DAILY)....MLS named
     ROB ROSS and TIM WASEMILLER as Dirs of Corporate
     Partnerships.  Ross was a Sales Planner for ESPN Advertising
     Sales, while Wasemiller was Dir of Corporate Sponsorships 
     for AFL Properties (MLS)....The MLS Crew named DAVE STEPHANY
     as Assistant Dir of PR.  Stephany, who was Associate Dir of
     Communications for the IHL K-Wings for the past four years,
     replaces ALAN PLUM, who was recently named Communications
     Coordinator in the MLS league office.  In addition, Crew
     Stadium named RYAN SMITH as Event Manager and KRISTINE
     HOOLWERF as Marketing Coordinator (Crew)...The CBA promoted
     MATT CORREA to Dir of Basketball Operations.  He was
     previously Basketball Operations Coordinator (CBA).
